From Village camps to Mosaic projects, CISV programmes empower young people to make friends, build peace, and grow confidence all around the world.
We offer unique educational experiences for children and youth aged 11 and up. Each programme is designed to build intercultural understanding and leadership through fun, friendship, and learning.
Our programmes
Village
Village is CISV’s original programme, designed for 11-year-olds to explore peace education in a fun, safe international camp. Children from around the world come together for four weeks to learn, grow, and make lifelong friends.
Youth Meeting
Youth Meetings are short international camps for ages 12–13 that bring young people together to explore global themes through games, discussion, and cultural exchange. A flexible, high-impact way to begin the CISV journey and build meaningful connections across borders.
Step Up
Step Up is a three to four-week international camp for young people aged 14–15 who are ready to take the lead. Participants help design and run activities while exploring global issues, building leadership skills, and growing in confidence through cross-cultural teamwork.
Seminar Camp
Seminar Camp is a three-week youth-led programme for ages 16–17 where participants shape the experience themselves. Through open dialogue, reflection, and action on global issues, young people from around the world build critical thinking skills and lasting commitments to social responsibility.
Junior Counsellor
The Junior Counsellor (JC) is a 16–17-year-old who supports the Village programme by connecting delegates, leaders, and staff. As role models and mentors, JCs help create a positive, inclusive environment where children feel safe, engaged, and inspired to learn and grow.
Mosiac
Mosaic brings CISV's peace education into local communities through short-term projects designed in partnership with schools, NGOs, and community groups. Flexible in format and global in perspective, Mosaic empowers youth and volunteers to take meaningful local action on issues like human rights, sustainability, and diversity.
